Abstract

BSTRACT The carried out scientific research is related to the solution of the actual problem of developing deposits with hard-to-recover oil reserves. According to most experts, more energy-efficient technology and equipment is needed to increase the temperature in the bottom-hole zone, while ensuring the production cost of high-viscosity oil. As part of the ongoing research, the goal is to develop a new heat generator for oil extraction, with the realization of a cyclic working process in which coolant heating alternates with the pumping the heated coolant. One universal submersible installation performs both functions. A similar problem is solved for the first time. The new technology and the equipment are patented. Analytical and experimental research methods are used in the course of the development. An experimental sample of a heat generator was developed to carry out bench tests. The sample combines electromechanical and hydraulic systems for energy transmission and conversion. Theoretical studies and laboratory tests show the new possibilities of creating a circulation chamber design based on a volumetric or a dynamic-type pump. Also, the manuscript considers the options for sectional form, where certain sections are of a volumetric type, and others are made based on a dynamic type pump. According to preliminary estimates, the proposed solution will reduce the cost of acquiring and operating new equipment, while reducing the oil extraction cost. The project envisages the use of unification methods to expand the scope of the new technology and equipment.
