Abstract

It has been experimentally established that liquid aluminum alloy treatment in contact with a carbonaceous material at high temperatures up to 2000 °C promotes removal of hydrogen by 40-43% and aluminum oxide by 50-58%. Such treatment makes it possible to obtain an ultrafine-grained microstructure of an aluminum alloy
