Abstract

Taking into account the features of early age ‒ a the sensitive period in the formation of object-oriented acts – as well as the lack of scientific and methodological literature on the formation of object-oriented acts of young children with organic lesion of the central nervous system (CNS) determined the relevance of the research topic in the field of Correcting Pedagogy. The purpose of the study is to elaborate the contents, methods and devices facilitating the formation of objectoriented acts of the children with organic lesion of the central nervous system. The task of the study was to determine the pedagogical conditions for corrective actions that contribute to the formation of object-oriented acts of younger children with organic lesion of the CNS. The study of the developmental features of young children with deviations in psychophysical development showed the presence of nonspecific manipulative and inadequate actions with objects, difficulties in orienting and performing activities, which indicates the incompleteness of the previous age stage in their development. Most children act with objects without taking into account their physical properties; they do not perform actions indicated by speech instruction; their imitation skills are not developed either, the latter ones being the main way to assimilate social experience; there is no orientation to the assessment of their actions expressed by adults. In order to conduct correctional and pedagogical work on the formation of object-oriented acts of the younger children with organic lesion of the central nervous system, pedagogical conditions were created; they included: a certain day regime; adequate character of communication and interaction of the teacher with the child; involvement of parents into the pedagogical process; organization of the object-developing environment; conducting individual correction-pedagogical classes; development of individual programs. The created pedagogical conditions and the developed directions of the corrective work on the formation of the object-oriented acts of the younger children with organic lesion of the central nervous system contribute into the completion of the previous stage of development – manipulative activity – and provide a developmental effect in the development of the object-oriented activities as the leading one, as well as the emergence of prerequisites for playful and productive types of children's activities. The presented approach to the study and development of the content of the pedagogical conditions for corrective pedagogical work on the formation of object-oriented actions of infants with organic lesion of the central nervous system does not pretend to be an exhaustive solution to the problem regarding the formation of the object-oriented actions performed by the children of the studied category, though it indicates prospects for further research in this area and can be used in the work of practitioners within the context of short-stay groups.
