Abstract
Investigation of the Hetmanate's phenomenon continues for a hundred years and during this time accumulated a huge number of multi-genres works: scientific, dissertational, educational - methodical, journalistic, memoir and others that allowed to create the corresponding historiographical image of this unique phenomenon. In our opinion, the constructive tendencies in development of national historiography have intensified, its problematic-historiographical components, purely scientific priorities became clearer at the beginning of the XXI century. Significantly expanded the thematic range of research activities, Ukrainian historians more than in compared with previous historiographical periods, were integrated into world historiographic space. Purpose – to follow the evolution of the views of the native historians who were studying agricultural policy of P. Skoropadsky. During the 2000-s – 2010-s, the object of study was agrarian policy of P. Skoropadsky, the subject – its coverage in the national historiography of 2000-s – 2010-s. So, during the 2000-s – Ukrainian history has undergone qualitative changes in its development in the 2010-s and is marked by contradiction characteristic of it. In addition to the modern Ukrainian historical science actively develops problematic historiography, first of all in agrarian history of Ukraine. Historiography of agrarian policy by P. Skoropadsky reflects the complexity and contradictory nature of the transformation of the modern Ukrainian historical science. In the scientific and historiographical space it is represented by monographs, dissertations, scientific articles, collections of materials for the results of conferences, scientific popular and educational literature. On the basis of researched historiographic sources, in the newest Ukrainian historiography can be conditionally defined several approaches in the treatment of agrarian policy of P. Skoropadsky. In our opinion its content is as follows: 1) agricultural policy of P. Skoropadsky – restoration of landlordchurch tenure, an encroachment on the revolutionary conquests of the peasants of Russia and Ukraine; 2) scientific presentation of the material with different level of argumentation, reliability, scientificness; 3) critical use of both traditional and innovative methodological tools, impartiality of authors and scientific discussion.
