Abstract
Cyprus, where is an inseparable part of the Turkey, is politically rented to the Great Britain in 1878, because of the Russian threat. Later on, the Britain annexed the Cyprus on the excuse that the First World War. In 1925, they used Crown Colony system. Turkish Cypriots were most affected side by that
British attitude. The British' divide and rule system gave a lot of benefits to the Greek Cypriots, and every and each day legal and national rights of the Cypriot Turks were taken by their hands. Even worst was that the Greek Cypriots' Enosis movements led some political chaos. Cypriot Turks were between the British Crown Colony, and the Greek Cypriots aggressive attitudes. And these situations made the first steps of the Cypriot Turks National Movements.
