Abstract

The paper presents the results of studies of the control of crane wheels in terms of the coercive force Hc and the hardness HB. The obtained data on the ranges of safe operation of wheels made of steel 65G in the production process are given. A control procedure has been developed and formulas have been determined for the reliability interval with prediction of the remaining life of the wheel prior to failure.
