Abstract
The present study was conducted to analyse the extent of participation of farm women (n=238) in wheat, mustard, rice and vegetable production in rural peripheries of Delhi, India. Farm women's participation in agri-horticulture in rural Delhi is immense and based on the findings of the study it can be concluded that, except in ploughing, they are involved in all other activities in some form or another. It was observed that majority of farm women belong to the 26-52-year age group. Extension personnel may therefore concentrate on technology transfer to this age group for quick dissemination and widespread adoption of improved and drudgery-reducing technologies.
