Abstract
The article provides the conceptual provisions of economic and mathematical modeling for developing a food balance with the aim of improving the efficiency of the food security management. The analysis of the state of the DPR agroindustrial complex for the period of 2014-2018 together with the definition of threats and opportunities for its development is presented.
