YOUTH TOLERANCE IN INTERNET COMMUNICATION

The problem of tolerance in the modern world and Russia became more urgent due to the growth of national and religious intolerance after the collapse of the USSR. As a rule, intolerance towards representatives of a different ethnic, racial, religious or other social group is manifested by those who hasn't formed stable value orientations and attitudes. Therefore, the problem of tolerance is primarily a problem of youth policy. The article discusses some of the results of sociological research conducted by the authors in 2015–2018 in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The paper analyzes the results of measuring the tolerance of young people. The results of the content analysis of individual Internet messengers are also presented in order to identify the manipulative tech- nologies used that influence the formation of negative attitudes among young people in different ethnic groups
