Abstract
GISTs are a rare group of gastrointestinal tumors that occur in the gastrointestinal tract and develop from the Cajal interstitial cells. Their occurrence in the small intestine is less common in the stomach than twenty to 30% of all GIST locations. This localization has prognostic features due to the higher aggressivity, and morphological features given the frequency of observation of skeinoid fibers. We report the case of a jejunal GIST with skeinoid fibers.
