Abstract
In this paper, we presented a system called SWISS (Search Websites’ Images using Search Suggestions) that searches images for brainstorming activities. Participants’ utterances are continuously input into SWISS and converted into text. SWISS searches Webpages using the text and extracts four words, which are features of the top Webpage of the search results. These words are expected to be a tool for deepening the current conversation topic. Moreover, each word of the four words is listed with a letter of the alphabet/Hiragana character, which is selected at random and receives a suggested word. Then, SWISS searches images with extracted and suggested words. We conducted an experiment that three people discussed given themes with using SWISS and using SWISS without autosuggested word. The result showed that a participant could come up with a new idea from unexpected images displayed from SWISS.
