Abstract
The complex formation of iron(II, III) with 2,6-dithiol-4-alkylphenols (2,6-dithiol-4-methylphenols and 2,6-dithiol-4-tret-methylphenols) and hydrophobic amines have been studied. There were used aniline, N-metilaniline and N,N-dimetilaniline as hydrophobic amines. The optimum conditions for formation and extraction of mixed compounds have been found and components ratios in the complexes have been determined. It is established that mixed-ligands complexes are formed in a weak acidic medium (pHrat =4.0–5.4). The maximum in spectrum of light-absorbing is observed at λ= 560–575 nm. Molar coefficient of light-absorbing =(3.12–3.57)104. On the grounds of the received data there have been elaborated photometric methods of determining iron in different objects. The proposed methods are characterized by good reproducing and low bounds of discovery
