Abstract
The relationship between degree of electronic affinity and antioxidant activity of a number of polycondensed aromatic compounds, including buckminsterfullerene (C60) and multi-walled carbon nanotubes has been studied. The investiga-tion was carried out on a model reaction of initiated oxidation of cumene. It has been established that the antioxidant activity of APS increase with incremental degree of their affinity to the electron, reaching a maximum value for fuller-ene C60 and MWCNTs
