Abstract
A problem is considered that can simulate the movement of blood in a large vessel, part of which is replaced by a prosthesis (or graft). It is assumed that the material of the prosthesis and the vessel obeys the linear viscoelastic Voigt model. The paper considers a one-dimensional wave-like process of motion of a viscous incompressible fluid in a given rectilinear tube. The dependence of the pressure amplitude on the angular frequency is studied.
