THE POTENTIALS OF THE EURASIAN INTEGRATION FOR THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN IN THE FOOD-PROCESSING MARKET

The supply chain role in the food processing industry is analysed in the article. Moreover, perspectives on protectionist price policies in the internal Eurasian Economic Union market are defined. The purpose of the research is to develop the theoretical background, which may help to define recommendations on how to develop the food processing sector in Kazakhstan through applying economic mechanisms. The research methodology is based on economic, analytic and graphical methods. The research practical significance is in describing perspectives of Kazakhstani food processing industry in the Eurasian Economic Union. The research results illustrate that combination of optimal trade tariffs and supply chain coordination policies may help to improve integration of Kazakhstani food processing industry into the Eurasian Economic Union.
