Abstract
Carbonated drinks are the thirdmost common consumed beverages in the world.Consumption of Carbonated drinks is more in the age group of 12-19 years. India is one of the top five fastest growing markets for the carbonated drinks. Carbonated drinks manufacturers aretargeting the children and young adult to increase their markets. Carbonated drinks offer energy with little accompanying nutrition. The importance of knowledge and practice regarding carbonated drinks needs to be emphasized in prevention of the ill effects of carbonated drinks.
