National innovative system as stimulus for the development of high tech industry

Innovation activities and high technologies are the driving force behind the modern economic prosperity. Currently, the global economy is focused on high-tech development, which implies creating innovative products and services. The article highlights the role of the national innovation system in the development of high technologies. High-tech sector has great prospects for development in Armenia, but fiscally-scarce and expensive resources do not give a chance to fully use the potential.
