EUROPEAN NETWORK OF PARTNERSHIP ACADEMIES AS AN INNOVATIVE MODEL FOR TRAINING BORDER GUARDS

The article considers the problem of creating a European network of partnership academies as an innovative model for training border guards for the purpose of further using advanced ideas for modernizing the system of professional training of the personnel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The peculiarities of the organization of unified training of border guards in the partnership academies of the European Union countries have been highlighted. The main objectives of the network of partnership academies are: to organize unified training of the border guards in European border guard educational institutions; to promote the development of a common culture of European border guarding with harmonized standards, values and practices; to improve the quality of training of the personnel of the national border guard agencies; optimize the use of available resources for the border guards training.
