Disciplines of the Analytical Profi le as a Component of the Bachelor’s Degree Program «Information, Library and Archive Science»

The article is devoted to the modernization of modern library education, the development of educational programs in the training of specialists in the specialty 029 «Information, Library and Archive Science» on the basis of the experience of the Department of Information, Library and Archives Science of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. A retrospective analysis of the training of specialists in information analytics in higher educational institutions of Ukraine was carried out, and the direction of teaching for forming students’ knowledge and skills (competencies) of documentary and information technology was revealed, which is topical, but does not cover semantic analytics, the result of which is the creation of consolidated information. The urgency and prospects of strengthening the analytical component in the program for the preparation of bachelors of information, library and archival affairs in the context of the need to staff the information and analytical direction of the activities of scientific libraries is substantiated. The program of training bachelors on specialty 029 «Information, Library and Archive Science» in the «Information Analytics» area at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts is considered.
