Citation of Foreign LIS Journals by Ukrainian LIS Professionals

The paper presents the results of citation analysis of foreign LIS journals by Ukrainian LIS professionals in 5 Ukrainian LIS journals from 2010 to 2015. Bibliotechnyi visnyk, Visnyk KhDAK, Visnyk knyzhkovoi palaty, Bibliotekoznavstvo. Dokumentoznavstvo. Informolohiia and Bibliotechna Planeta are 5 the most popular Ukrainian LIS journals amoung Ukrainian LIS researchers, educators and practitioners. The highest number of citations of foreigh LIS journals was found in Bibliotechnyi visnyk and the highest number of quoted titles of foreing LIS journas was in Visnyk knyzhkovoi palaty. The list of foreign LIS journals indexed both in Scopus and Web of Science scientometric databases was made and the level of usage of these foreign LIS journals by Ukrainian LIS professionals in 5 Ukrainian LIS journals was found out.
