Use of News Aggregators in the Practice of Preparing Library Information and Analytical Products

The article explores the relevance of using modern web aggregators in information and analytical activities. The modern world information trends that influence the ways of distribution and consumption of news information are considered. The issues of professional use of news aggregators by informational analysts in connection with constantly growing volumes of information are analyzed. A number of news aggregators have been studied in detail with different type and kind of content, their features and specifics have been established. Functions of aggregators that are convenient from the point of view of professional use are considered. The advantages of personalizing news aggregators from the perspective of using information analytics as a tool in the process of work are grounded. The convenience of using news aggregators on the example of working on projects by information and analytical departments of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine is considered.
