Abstract
The results of empirical research with involvement of citizens of Russia and China which purpose was the study of features of the legal consciousness reflected in ideas of respondents about the law and the relation to it are provided in the article. The revealed distinctions allow understanding phenomenon of ?legal nihilism? of the Russian society which sources lie in right and moral imbalance.
