Abstract

The objective of our article is to analyze the problem of “new people” creation from the perspective of social construction. In this context, the experience of Catherine and her government goes far beyond the XVIII century and can be considered as a historical and philosophical bases for analyzing the current situation in Russia. The statement of basic materials. The author made an attempt to look at the problem of creation «new man» in Russia in the context of social construction. Catherine II tried to artificially create a «third state» without guarantees of civil liberties. The Russian government did not wanted, that to admit that the third state is not created only by administrative measures to implement unified moral education and vocational education.
