The image of the Russian in the British periodical press as an example: The Guardian и The Independent

The Article is devoted to the problem of representation of the image of the Russian in the leading British publications The Guardian and the Independent. A hypothesis about the negative perception of Russians through the prism of politics is proposed. The hypothesis is tested by sociological research. Content analysis was chosen as a sociological research.
