Tefsirde İstimdâd: Klasik Dönemde Tefsirin İlişkili Görüldüğü İlimler

After the revelation of the Qur'an, since many people from different cultures and places,converted to Islam, the process of interpreting the Qur'an started to be made in a moresystematically way. Because Qur'an as the subject of Tafsir is firstly an utterance/kalâm,this situation had required Tafsir to be continued on the basis of some datum. As a matterof fact, both predecessor scholars and exegetes have stipulated that one must to knowsome informations for interpretation since the early periods of Islam. While mentioningTafsir's relationship with other sciences, the Word of istimdâd is used. In this sense severalapproaches have become to apeear in time. In this study, it will be detected chronologicallythat which sciences exegetes consider necessary for Tafsir and what kind of differentapproaches they put forward. The chronological research of this issue will enable us to determinehow sciences used by Tafsir could differentiate according to exegetes over time.Lastly, sciences that we detected will be evaluated in terms of function of Tafsir.
