Abstract
Hypothenar Algesia (Hypothenar Hammer Syndrome ) is a rare disease of palmar ulnar artery caused by repetitive blunt trauma to thenar area of hand. It typically occurs in dominant hand of middle aged manual workers. Treatment modality ranges from anti-platelet aggregation therapy to a surgical excision of the affected vessel. We present a case of 61 year old bus driver presenting with swelling in inner aspect of right palm accompanied with pain. He was treated with surgical resection of involved ulnar arterial aneurysm.
