Abstract
The study concerns the stages of mastering grammar skills in the process of learning the native language, the first and the second foreign languages. The topic is relevant due to the interest of teachers working in the sphere of multilingual education and the need to create a certain multilingual and multicultural environment with a strong educational and developing potential. The purpose of the article is to find a way to create a specific microenvironment for students through the development and implementation of specially organized didactic support. The need for using contrastive grammar exercises in the process of multilingual education is justified and substantiated. A set of contrastive grammar exercises and tasks to be used on different stages of developing grammar skills in students who study German as a second language was finally worked out (taking the Future Tense as an example). The research confirmed the effectiveness of introducing specially created contrastive exercises and tasks (based on grammar modeling) in the educational process. The suggested exercises allowed making a correct transfer of knowledge, they minimized language interference and provided a high level of mastering a new grammar material and developing the intellectual abilities of students.
