Abstract
Regular monitoring of viral hepatitis related surveillance data is essential to inform and evaluate strategies to reduce the burden of the disease because decisions on public health issues are dependent on reliable epidemiological data. The aim of this study was to examine trends in the incidence and epidemiology of unspecified viral hepatitis in Albania. Data about unspecified viral hepatitis notifications through the principal surveillance system of the infection diseases, 14 Sh form, over the period 2000?2013 were reviewed.
