Abstract
This article focuses on a non-verbal communication expressed through images. This form of communication has been developed by the Y en a marre movement to fight against the political system of President Abdoulaye Wade. The actors (rappers) of this movement were denouncing the weaknesses of that system. It aims to analyze the cryptic messages of images in using the semiological approach of Roland Barthes. However, the analysis permitted us to note the problems related to the difficult living conditions of Senegalese citizens, to democracy, to corruption and to dictatorship. Thus, these results will enable to better understand the communicative dimension of images in the struggle of the Y en a marre movement.
