Abstract
The influence of the pH of the medium on the extraction of uranium and thorium cations by bis-(2- hydroxy-5-alkylbenzyl)amine on the distribution of them between the aqueous and organic phases, depending on the concentration of metals, on the salt composition of the solution (NaCl and Na2SO4 additives) and the nature of the organic solvent was studied. The pH of the maximum extraction of the studied metal cations was established.
