Abstract
In Azerbaijan, during summer seasons the record high temperature is recorded and the heat waves become longer in the last decades. Regarding winters, some tend to think that winters have become milder, some people remember some quite bright frost periods (2002, 2008, 2012). In this regard, we study the minimum air temperature in the Absheron in winter period using the example of Baku and the risks for the population associated with them were identified.
