SURVEYON CONTENT BASED IMAGE RETRIEVAL TECHNIQUES

Goal of content-based image retrieval is to retrieve relevant images from the large collection of databases on the basis of their own visual content. Content-based image retrieval performs basic function is the feature extraction. Shape alone are not sufficient to recognize the content of the image with high accuracy so we use another information such as color or texture.
