SMART Model for Urban Land Management

In India, urban land management is a state subject and each state has their own urban land supply policy. The aim of research paper is to identify the best land management techniques in India based on performance indicators and to develop an innovative technique using a combination of various tools to enhance the quantum of supply of urban land. The SMART (Sustainable, Marketable, Aesthetical, Rational and Transit Oriented) Model was developed to improve the performance of the Land Pooling land management policy in India.
