Abstract
The chemical purification of technological gas with solutions of monoethanolamine (MEA) and methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) is relatively comparable. Comparative calculations of material, thermal balances and surface absorber are executed in Excel. The equilibrium partial pressure over the MDEA solution, depending on the degree of carbonization of the solution and the temperature, is approximated. Dependence of the coefficient reduction of partial pressure over the activated solution from the degree of carbonization for the conditions of absorption is approximated. Replacing the MEA solution with an activated MDEA solution without replacing the equipment and changing the process flow scheme in Ukrainian enterprises is proposed.
