Abstract
Giant cell tumours are locally aggressive tumours usually occuring in the distal femur, proximal tibia or distal radius.We report a case of GCT of the proximal femur, campanacci stage 3 in a 45 year old female successfully managed by wide resection and reconstruction with custom mega prosthesis. The functional outcome was excellent with musculoskeletal tumour society functional score of 26.
