Abstract
Research investigations over the past thirty years have clearly developed the potential use of different fiber reinforcement for improving the flexural capacity as well as toughness and shear strength of reinforced concrete members .The inclusion of hybrid fibres having different low and high modulus of elasticity, micro/macro combination also helps to reduce the problem of congestion due to flexure and shear reinforcement at critical sectional beam- column joint in structural members. This review paper is mainly focused on flexural and shear behavior of hybrid fiber reinforced concrete for the recent years.
