Abstract
The vehicular ad hoc network is the decentralized type of network in which vehicles can join or leave the network when want. In such type of network routing, security are the major issues which affect network security. The security attacks are classified into active and passive. The various security algorithms are designed to increase security of the network. The DDOS attack is the active type of attack which reduces network performance to great extent. In this paper, various techniques are analyzed for the isolation of DDOS attack are reviewed.
