Abstract
The development of wall construction materials has advanced. From the start of the brick stone, cement brick or concrete block, to the use of light brick as a wall construction simple housing material in Makassar City, South of Sulawesi. The unit price of constructions, consisting of the price of the wall work unit. The units price of the wall work, depends on the material used. When using light brick wall, the productivity of the installation of lightweight bricks is needed, to avoid the unit price of wall work. In Indonesia there is no Standard Coefficient . So far, practitioners of construction services still use SNI (Indonesian Standar) 6897: 2008 and the Standard Coefficients used are: The coefficient of installing 1m2 Wall of Brick Stone size (5x11x22) thick ½ Brick Stone (Sub.No.: 6.7 to 6.15), which is clearly a misdemeanor because it uses different brick materials. As a result of the absence of the Work Coefficient Standard for light brick production , the owner or disgner is not fit for purpose calculating the Cost Budget Plan of Buildings that use Lightweight Bricks . Practitioners are not fit for purpose calculating the Work Unit Price. The sellers and buyers of simple houses in the property business can be the losers in pricing the selling price / purchase price. Other problem is difficulty of auditting or investigating unit prices that have components of the Lichtbrick Stones. The discussion aims to analysis the determination of the coefficient of productivity using the material of Lightbrick Stone in a simple housing and observers coefficient value. The method of anlysis uses “Work Sampling” Method and the result of coefficients are compared to an index or coefficient of brick Stone wall installation work contained in the SNI 6897/2008 The results of the analysis showed that the productivity coefficients of the installation of 1 m2 of light brick walls in simple multi-storey housing were: Worker = 0.029 Mandays (Md); Bricklayer = 0.058 Md, Chief Bricklayer = 0.058 Md, Foremen = 0 Md, because in construct simple housing, the duties of Foreman are doing by by the Chief Bricklayer
