The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of parsley seed priming with Ascophyllum nodosum on germination, seedling growth and seedling production. Cultivars Crespa and Lisa were used, and the doses of 0; 1; 2; 4 and 8 mL L-1 , in a completely randomized design, with a 2 x 5 factorial scheme. Germination percentage, root protrusion speed, seedling length and dry mass, percentage and emergence velocity of plants, height seedlings, number of leaves and length of roots. Conditioning with Ascophyllum nodosum does not lead to improvement in germination, seedling growth and seedling production.
