Abstract
The article analyzes the emerging trend of changes in attitudes to support organization for small and medium-sized businesses at the regional level. On the basis of detection and identification of current trends in regional programs to support small businesses, the article offers a classification of supporting methods for small and medium-sized enterprises based on their performance criteria. The article provides recommendations for reorganization of small and medium-sized businesses with the account of the differentiated approach in the implementation of program activities of business development in the region.
