Abstract
It is widely accepted that lubricating oils play important role in determining the performance and the effective life in several industrial field. This work represents an attempt to compare the efficiency of Iraqi made oils (multi grade oil) with the important oils (American and emirate oil) at room temperature and samples used in this work chemical and mechanical tests were conducted ,Chemical composition analysis (EDS results showed that hardness of (A356) was carried out by tafelextrapolation corrosion rate (mpy) at RT. indicated that the weight loss was (70*10 test results in different oils at RT. gm) in steady state region 3 gm) respectively, at 80 ˚ 4.5*10-3gmcompared with 2*10-3gm)respectively.
