Abstract
The main directions of the foreign and domestic theory and practice in the sphere of development of agriculture are covered in this article. The trends of agrarian land use in Europe and possibility of use of this experience in Russia are presented. The implementation of the relevant organizational and territorial activities for land management is offered as the key tool among proposed measures on improvement of agrarian land use.
