SURVEY CHARACTERISTICS OF LEARNING COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT LEARNING AT INFORMAL EDUCATION

Problems in learning community including budget constraints, facilities and infrastructure, environmental conditions, someone's busy life and the limited time they have been making learning community one of the right solutions. The paper is used to determine the characteristics learning community to support learning at informal education. The results obtained are that the characteristics of a learning community are grouped into several aspects, namely aspects of content, forums, media and technology, methods and lectures / tutorials. From these aspects, media and technology become the most important thing, then aspects of the forum, aspects of the content, aspects of the methods used in the learning community, and the last can be seen from the aspect of the lecture /tutorialss. After knowing these various characteristics expected to be able to distinguish between learning communities for formal education, non-formal education and informal education. These three things are very different in terms of characteristics so this paper can be used to determine components that can affect learning community in informal education, where the component of learning community in informal education will be discussed in the next study.
