Abstract
The paper describes a theoretical study of the movement of a material particle in a metering device with a rotating cone. The differential equation of the particle motion in the projection on the tangent to a curved blade of a rotating cone is considered. An inhomogeneous second-order differential equation with constant coefficients is obtained. The results of calculations of the change in the velocity of particle displacement as a function of time along the logarithmic curve of a rotating cone are presented. A differential equation is obtained which describes the relative motion of a particle in the projection on a tangent to a curved blade of a rotating cone.
