Abstract
Since post harvest loss of fruits is one of the major problems in less availability of fruits, hence several methods are adopted to avoid that, from among them post harvest application of calcium compounds and ethylene absorbents are found to be the most effective, cheaply available and easily applicable methods for delaying fruit ripening & senescence and are also found to be effective in control of decay loss.
