Abstract
This report presents a broad summary pertaining to submissions, review board composition and publication process of the Journal of Quantitative Methods since its inception in August 2017. JQM aims to share scientific knowledge by publishing basic and applied research on data innovations in the fields of statistics, business and economics through exploring new horizons of thoughts, ideas, research techniques, tools and methods. A special attention is paid to statistical modeling and analytical techniques employed in each of the manuscript received for publication. We believe that a sound theory also needs empirical evidences, and for this, our focus is to accept only those articles where statistical models are stated with clear assumptions and parameters of the models are estimated with a proper justification of the estimation method. As the editor of JQM, I am mainly responsible for screening the submitted manuscripts, assigning relevant reviewers and making acceptance or rejection decision based upon the double-blind peer reviews. Our main concern is to always maintain quality of the material submitted for possible publication in the JQM. Our team ensures integrity, and maintains high quality by selecting best of the best articles. It is worth mentioning that the editorial team bears no liability for statements of fact or opinion/s made by the authors.
