THE GOALS OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE ENGINEERS WITHIN THE COMPETENCE-BASED PARADIGM

The characteristics of professional education of future engineers within the competence-based training are represented in the article. The basic functions of technological support of this process are formulated. The main components of technological support of implementing the competence-based approach to professional training of engineers in higher education institution are specified. The characteristics of pedagogical goal setting are discovered. The strategic objective is proved in accordance with the orientation of professional training of future engineers, and also the tactical targets of training within the competence-based paradigm of academic education are established.
