Abstract
The organization of the educational process in the form of fraternal schools in the Ukrainian lands was originally due to the need to educate the population, and was explained by the struggle between Orthodoxy, Protestantism and Catholicism. The creation of a large number of educational institutions of various types has led to an increase in literacy and education. Education had a versatile orientation and included training in many practically necessary skills. The gradual formation of the system of education in fraternal schools did not exclude mistakes in educational activities on the part of teachers. This article discusses the main points of the educational system that existed in the schools of the brotherhood
