Abstract
Mind is one of nine Karana Dravyas. This is an internal instrument helping Purusa to feel happiness or sorrowfulness in this SthulaSarira. It is always associated with Purusa either in SthulaSarira (Karma Purusa) or SuksmaSarira (LingaSarira) till Purusa gets liberated from bondage. The mind plays a key role in connecting or relating SukshmaSariraPurusha to SthulaSarira (Karma Purusha). Despite the role of action of connecting, each other, the credit of being called ?doer? goes only to Purusha and not Mind.
