Abstract
The article deals with the following issues of trade enterprises placement in the metropolis: the state, analysis and methodological approaches. The necessity of changing the approach to the placement of trade enterprises with the use of functional marketing zoning of the city territory, as well as the basic principles of placing trade objects in the territorial formation have been substantiated.
